The budget bill was $300/mo when I set it up. I said that is way too high they argued that I was wrong. After a year, the budget is down to $100/mo.
I was hung up on today because the person thought we were done talking.

Before moving to a area where Boone remc provides there service. Please reconsider. It was our first month receiving our bill and I was mind blown to see how high it was. Almost quadruple the amount I paid back in WA state. Let me just say I always had the heat average at 68 degrees and only had the lights on in the room I was in. I get a bill for $368 for a 1000 sq ft. Apt. For ONLY 23 days! Please explain to me how that is possible ?!?! I call Boone and more than half my bill is fees!!! And only $45 is a one time fee. Because it's a non profit organization. I'm sorry how do ppl afford this? Once my lease is up, there's no way I will have Boone providing us with there service.
Absolutely asinine added charges to every bill regardless of usage for a Minimum Bill fee AND maintenance fee on top of the actual bill, plus taxes.I have NEVER had such an expensive bill for electricity. I am not home all day, I keep the AC off or set above 75, rarely spend my night watching TV or using my electronics and had a bill well over $100 for a partial month period (23 days). After living in several different counties and under different service providers, the just seems ABSURD.
Bill is waaaay too high for a company. I'm actually thinking of changing where I live after this back down to Indy JUST because of this.
