Clean tidy hotel friendly staff despite denying me a morning swim before 9am. Most pools are outside and unusable this time of year. Hours were 9am to 10pm. I just wanted a
6 am swim before work. At least he was honest and wouldn't even let me in for a $20
There is ONE entrance/exit. Through the front. That must be a fire hazard! There is NO elevator. This would have been helpful information. I didn't think to look for an elevator as an amenity. We had to drag heavy suitcases and coolers up and down the stairs. All the manager had to say about it was, "they are very nice stairs". English was not his first language, and I struggled to understand him, and he struggled to understand me. There is no way the electrical in this place was up to code. The hall lights are clearly installed with a bunch of extension cords, as was the security camera in the breakfast room. A long electrical cord stapled to the wall. The shower had minimal water pressure---it was terrible. The back yard off the pool wasn't even mowed. The kids played in weeds. They were stingy with the towels. There were no pool towels ever stocked in the pool room (which was ungodly humid and small), so you had to ask for them every time..and there were 2 softball teams staying there. They should have kept well stocked. Then when you kindly ask for pool towels, the employee sighed and rolled his eyes. Very rude. There was no employee that impressed me. Housekeeping came knocking on the door everyday at 8:30!!! Next time I'll spend the extra money to go somewhere more civilized.
1/2 star. I'm a traveled veteran never stayed at such a poor poor hotel. Dirty everything thing in room was broken including the toilet. Bath tub whirlpool was disgusting. Vending machines were all empty. Coffee was nasty and cold. 120.00 dollars is robbery. That hotel should be shut down n gutted. Pool got the half star. And I'm a generous kind person. Poor were smoking inside which is illegal.
The room was very nice and clean. Plus the breakfast was very good. This hotel is always good.
The room had terrible musty smell I had a hard time breathing put one of my shirts by my nose. The toilet paper holder was all rusty. There was piles of dust behind furniture and on sprinkler head. Comforter cover had black marks on it as well as the shower curtain. I was up until 3am , I even had thoughts of sleeping in my car. Get some Mr Clean and do some deep cleaning.
